Death Trap as Glo Mast remains Abandoned In Kwahu
Telecommunications network giant Glo-Ghana has left a mast (pole) which was built and operated by them to the mercy of rain, sun and wind posing jeopardy to residents.
The mast which is located at “Asona” a suburb of Danteng in the Kwahu West Municipal Assembly seems to be abandoned after eight years of operations.
According to residents who live around the area, the mast is near collapse and so they have been leaving in fear for the past two months.
Metals from the mast in its rusting stage keep falling to the ground a situation residents panic may cause more harm than good.
According to them they have lodged several complaints to the Municipal Assembly through their assembly member but all their efforts have been fruitless.
